In the case of a fan of the Hertha BSC football club, who died after being hit by another man, the police are looking for the alleged perpetrator with an identikit.

The picture was created on the basis of a witness statement, the Berlin police said.

In mid-May, 55-year-old Michael R. is said to have gotten into an argument with the driver of a BMW with Rostock license plates after the relegation game between Hertha BSC and Hamburger SV near the Olympic Stadium.

The passenger is said to have got out and hit R. in the face with his fist.

According to investigators, he fell and hit the back of his head on the street.

He died about a month later from his severe injuries.

The State Criminal Police Office is investigating the case of bodily harm resulting in death and is asking for information.

Hertha BSC shared the police's search call on Twitter and called on witnesses "of the terrible act" to contact the investigators.
