The number of positive corona test results in Germany is still high.
What to do if you test positive.
Munich – The seven-day incidence in Germany is still around 500. And the number of positive corona tests is also increasing every week.
Nevertheless, countries and governments have agreed to relax the quarantine and sick leave regulations.
But what rules apply in the event of illness?
Anyone who has tested positive or has been in contact with a sick person often does not know how to behave.
Because many measures are now outdated.
You can find out here what you have to consider and when you have to go into quarantine.

New rules for the Corona citizen test have been in effect since the beginning of July.
But for many people there is still a lack of clarity and confusion.
In principle, however, anyone who has carried out a rapid test at home and it is positive must have the result confirmed.
This can be done free of charge at the test center or at the doctor's.
Those affected should only leave home isolation to go to the test – regardless of whether they have recovered, been vaccinated or boosted.
If the result of the monitored rapid test is also positive, patients can have a free PCR test carried out to be on the safe side.
However, this is not mandatory.
People with a positive rapid test can also store this in the Corona-Warn-App to "warn" affected groups of people.

The tests also remain free for the following groups:

If you want to go to a concert, take a test before visiting older people or before a larger family celebration, you have to pay 3 euros from now on.
This also applies to tests after risky contacts or after a warning in the Corona-Warn-App.
Those who do not meet these requirements have to pay the twelve euros for the test out of their own pocket.

Stay at home if you have symptoms of illness
New rules also apply to a positive test accompanied by symptoms of illness.
Anyone who feels ill should therefore contact their family doctor as soon as possible.
Patients must also be isolated at home for five days.
It is also recommended to repeatedly carry out a quick test or self-test after the fifth day and to remain in isolation until the test is negative.
A similar procedure applies to those affected who have no symptoms but still have a positive test result.
However, you should perform a PCR test to confirm the result.
Fully vaccinated people who have tested positive and have no symptoms must also be quarantined.
Contact persons, on the other hand, do not have to be isolated at home.
In this case, however, it is advisable to get tested for the presence of an infection.
Good to know: If you want to use the positive corona test result as proof of recovery, you should definitely have a PCR test carried out.
With the help of the laboratory results, the proof of recovery can then be issued in the pharmacy.
