, is gradually being unveiled.
And if many mysteries hover over the film since it was announced in 2020, the producers ended up giving fans several information.
Entitled
The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird
, its story takes place 64 years before the adventures of Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence.
Its theatrical release is scheduled for 2023.

The snake and the bird
If the production of this prequel remained secret during these two years, fans of the saga were able to discover a first glimpse of the epic to come during CinemaCon, on April 28.
A teaser, still as mysterious, has been unveiled showing a snake and a bird freeing themselves from an ice prison.

60 years before the original story
Based on the eponymous book by Suzanne Collins, published in 2020, the prequel centers on the story of Coriolanus Snow, President of Panem, played by Donald Sutherland in the first four films.
An 18-year-old brilliant Capitol high school student, he is the last hope of his disgraced and impoverished ancestors when he is chosen to mentor District 12 resident Lucy Gray Baird during the 10th Hunger Harvest. Games.

She could find Josh Andrès Rivera, who played Chino alongside her in the famous musical.
This one will play the role of Sejanus Plinth, a close friend of Coriolanus.
