Who says first big weekend of departure in summer holidays says… traffic jams.
France will gradually adorn itself with red between this Friday and Saturday.
According to Bison Futé, this Friday, the day after the last day of school, traffic will be particularly dense in the Paris region and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Rhône-Alpes region.
These two areas are therefore classified as red.

In the direction of departures this Friday, Bison futé therefore advises leaving or crossing Île-de-France before noon;
to avoid the A1 motorway, between Paris and Senlis, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as the A10 motorway, between Orléans and Tours, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.;
the A7 motorway, between Lyon and Orange, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and between Salon-de-Provence and Marseille, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.;
and finally the A62 motorway, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, it will be necessary to be all the more patient because all of France will be classified red, and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region black.

Leaving or crossing Île-de-France before 12 p.m.,
Avoid the A1 motorway, between Paris and Senlis, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
