This past weekend, Corinne Gideon, a former Big Brother presenter, posted a series of stories to her personal column on the social network Instagram, where she directed unusual criticism against the many reactions and the great public protest that arose around the program's recent content, which included verbal violence, aggression and bullying.
After finishing watching all the episodes aired so far, she had a hard time understanding what all the fuss was about, noting that the current season is no different in her opinion from the previous seasons, expressing astonishment at the storm created, stressing that this is not an educational program and finally stating that criticism is out of place.
"Regarding 'Big Brother' and the criticism of the violence there," Gideon wrote against the background of the video she uploaded to the Internet.
"Yesterday I finished completing the whole 'Big Brother' and kept hearing the comments and criticism about the season. Now, it's not that I justify what's going on there, but like guys it's the 'Big Brother'. I did not understand. You did not sign up for the course at the academy. What did you expect? ? That's how it was even before he's 15 when it started.They are not trying to be an elite genre, it's prime time, it addresses the lowest common denominator.

"The goal there is to encourage intrigue, to bring people to the edge, to create interest so that there is a rating. That's what it is. Let's not be pretentious, it does not come to be educational. "You do not want, do not expect it. You do not want your children to be exposed to it, do not expose them to it, but I think the criticism is out of place," she said.
