(ANSA) - NAPLES, JULY 12 - It would have been the 17-year-old boyfriend to injure the 12-year-old who was scarred last night in Naples in the face with a knife.
The boy is currently unavailable.
On his trail there are the carabinieri, who have been entrusted with the investigations.
The same victim reported the name of the perpetrator of the attack to the doctors and then the military, adding that she, the 17-year-old, would have acted for "reasons of jealousy".
According to doctors, the scar from the deep wound inflicted on the 12-year-old's face will be at least partly permanent.
The girl was treated first in the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital and then transferred from here to the Santobono pediatric hospital, from which she was discharged.
She is now at home.
The first prognosis is one month for "permanent facial damage".
In the future, the victim will be subjected to new visits and perhaps plastic surgery to try to reduce the damage.
