(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 15 - The judges of Cassino's Court of Assizes entered the council chamber for a few minutes to decide on the five requests for conviction for the murder of Serena Mollicone, who died on June 1, 2001 in Arce.
The Cassino prosecutor asked for a sentence of 24 years for Marco Mottola, 30 for his father Franco, former commander of the barracks and 21 years for his wife Anna Maria.
The three are accused of complicity in murder.
The judges are also called to decide on the request for a 15-year sentence for VincenzoQuatrale, at the time deputy marshal and accused of external concurrence in murder, and 4 years for the appointment of the carabinieri Francesco Suprano who is contested for aiding and abetting.
The sentencing is expected in the evening.
