Want a little freshness without necessarily getting wet in this hot weather? Le Parisien offers you nine sites to discover around

Seine-et-Marne: the underground passages of the medieval town of Provins.

A visit to this former quarry is a must right now.

The temperature is ideal, it fluctuates between 13 and 15 degrees even during heat waves.

The place was formerly used for the degreasing of the wool made in the city.

As soon as they enter the underground passages, visitors can admire a huge room which then leads to the galleries on the walls of which inscriptions are still visible.

The site is accessible all summer until August 28 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.

Reservations are strongly recommended, either by telephone or online.

Guided tours are carried out in groups of only 25 people and the journey takes an average of forty-five minutes.

The water crosses the bridge on Avenue Paul-Doumer in Arcueil and runs to the Parc du Coteau-de-Bièvre at the entrance to Gentilly.

But for the bravest, the ride can continue upstream or downstream, since the Bièvre, 33 km long, has its source in the Yvelines and crosses four departments including the Val-de-Marne, to flow into the Seine. .

To take advantage of this new island of freshness, join the Raspail gymnasium in Arcueil (58, avenue Raspail).

Hauts-de-Seine - Seine-Saint-Denis: water games in the Parc des Chanteraines.

The Chanteraines departmental park, on the edge of the departments of 92 and 93, has no shortage of spaces in the shade and at the edge of the water.

But in times of heat wave, young and old alike love the Tilliers and Fiancés sectors, with their playgrounds and misting areas, accessible to all.
