Pirelli, Eni and Intesa do well in Piazza Affari. Positive European Markets (ANSA)


Piazza Affari accelerates further, with the Ftse Mib index up by 1.7% to 20,900 points.

The differential between German BTPs and ten-year Bunds drops to 212.5 points, with the Italian yield down 1.4 points to 3.22%, after the postponement of confidence in the Draghi Government in Parliament by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella .

In the light of Pirelli (+ 4.36%), driven together with Stellantis (+ 2.7%) by car sales in Italy, France and Germany.

Intesa (+ 3.07%) and Banco Bpm (+ 2.82%) run, followed by Bper (+ 1.67%) and Unicredit (+ 1.35%).

Eni did well (+ 1.35%), Saipem weighed (-23.76%) once the capital increase was completed. 

Positive European stock markets in the last session of the week, marked by the

slowdown of the economy in China due to Covid

(GDP + 0.4% in the second quarter against an expected rise of 1%).

The differential between German BTPs and Bunds fell to 212.9 points, with the Italian annual yield losing 0.5 basis points to 3.232%.

US futures were positive in view of retail sales, the New York State manufacturing index and industrial and manufacturing production in June.

China: Covid slows GDP, only + 0.4% in the second quarter - Economy

Purchases of oil TotalEnergies (+ 1.7%), Bp (+ 1.54%), Shell (+ 1.34%) and Eni (+ 0.77%), while Saipem (-23.61%) slips again after the successful conclusion of the € 2 billion capital increase.


    Positive were the banks Intesa (+ 2.95%), CaixaBank (+ 2.64%), Sabadell (+ 2.6%), Banco Bpm (+2.51%), NatWest (+ 2.42%), Santander (+ 1.84%), Commerzbank (+ 1.64%) and Unicredit (+ 1.58%).
