(ANSA) - MILAN, JULY 16 - A 60-year-old driver was shocked to death in Calcinato (Brescia) while he was unloading the earth removed from his truck from the excavations of the Tav Brescia-Venice tunnel.
The dynamics of the accident have yet to be ascertained but, from the first surveys, it seems that the body of the truck hit a high voltage cable and the driver was hit by a powerful electric discharge.
The man was alone at that time and was later found by his colleagues who raised the alarm but now there was nothing more to be done.
On the spot the Carabinieri, the Ats technicians and the firemen.
