How is it looking?

There are three hot days in Germany from Monday to Wednesday.

Not a record heat but highs likely in the upper 30s, a single 40 is not impossible.

The models have become fairly similar, you can see for each location where you end up for which location and whether there are still uncertainties.

How can this be explained?

The main heat bubble is moving over France and the British Isles.

There, with offshore winds, there will be temperatures of up to 40 degrees and possibly a bit more even on the Brittany and Norman coasts and especially in the east of the British Isles around the county of Nottinghamshire.

These are heat records for northwest and northern France and Great Britain since measurements began.

What's next?

The elongated bubble then slowly swings in our direction, relaxes a little and makes the heat peak in western Germany on Tuesday and in eastern Germany on Wednesday.

A new heat effort is conceivable in a week's time, but uncertainties are still high as seen in the 14-day trends.

What should I do?

Do not believe the usual "heat tips" from the media and authorities.

In order for grandma and grandpa to survive, they need constant draft and at least one fan in front of their noses.

Read on the topic.

Also note that heat does not create forest fires.

It takes 250-300 degrees for vegetation to burn.

All forest fires that start these days come from negligent or intentional arson.

Even shards of glass can't start a fire, that's just a funny robber story from the early Middle Ages that the police want to use to save investigative effort.

And what are you doing?

I read the "heat tips" from the media and authorities who are actually active euthanasia for the elderly and the alleged fires caused by the heat.

I'm debating whether a bite or a crushing cup is a better coping strategy.
