Emu bombs Twitter videos: Emmanuel don't do it...DO NOT DO IT

2022-07-18T15:04:30.774Z

Taylor Blake wants to feature her farm animals on TikTok, but one thing keeps coming to the fore: Emmanuel the emu. Blake rebukes him on camera - now the bird is a social media star.

Taylor Blake runs a mixed small cattle farm in southern Florida.

They are bred as pets, not intended for consumption.

Blake loves every single animal.

On TikTok, Taylor Blake introduces her animals: There's Winnie the Moo, a Scottish Highland cattle (or simply "fluffy cattle", as Blake says, "fluffy cattle").

There's Humpty, a miniature cow who loves to romp around between Blake's legs.

There are ducklings padding around on the barn roof ("What are you doing here and where's your mother?" Blake calls).

And there is a humpback, also called a zebu.

Blake would like to talk about the zebu, maybe explain why it has such a big hump on its back, she's casually leaning against the animal, in dungarees, pigtails, baseball cap.

But disaster is approaching from the side.

"Emmanuel!" Blake yells, "don't do it." An emu head leans into the frame, beady amber eyes, pointed beak, ready to pinch through the camera.

"EMMANUEL, DON'T DO IT!" Blake yells again until the bird backs away.

"I'm trying to teach people something here," she rebukes him.

The video of the unruly big bird went viral on Twitter over the weekend: over 20 million views and counting.

A user posted the clip there after finding it on Reddit.

Only later was the originator linked: Taylor Blake from Knuckle Bump Farm, who actually used her TikTok account to present her animals – until Emmanuel came on the scene and bombed the videos again and again.

While the small cattle clips have tens of thousands of views, the Emmanuel clips are in the millions - the first , posted on July 8th, currently has over eight million views.

There are already several follow-up videos: In one, Blake stands next to a donkey and gives an acceptance speech for the many reactions and requests for merchandise.

Sure, who also urgently wants to be in the picture: Emmanuel.

Taylor Blake tells more about herself and the farm on her Instagram account.

She grew up there, the farm belongs to her grandparents.

Some of the cattle are hers and she has worked elsewhere from time to time, but her heart has always drawn her back to her family and the animals.

She mainly takes care of the business side and marketing via social media, but as her grandparents are getting older she helps them where she can.

She is in the pasture every day and takes care of the cows, with each of which she has individual relationships.

Together with her partner, Taylor Blake now wants to build her own herd.

That shouldn't be a problem - thanks to Emmanuel's internet fame.
