Cheese rolls that hide a surprise. Beit Lazit (Photo: Alon Mesika)
Goat Furrow has fun employment for you with the kids, at the end of which you will have a delicious dinner or one of the most addictive snacks there is.
Beit Lazit is one of the most ingenious recipes there is - delicious dough rolls spiced with cheese and inside each bun, bury a surprise with the children - olive.
The favorite food has different versions (as here in the recipe for a homemade olive dough), that of Telem also combines wholemeal flour or spelled (according to your preference) and thanks to the addition of yeast the texture is just like a soft bun inside and crispy outside.
Our recommendation:
if not You have eliminated everything, frozen the delicious rolls and every time you go out for activities such as the sea, the pool or just for a walk, take them with you on the road.

Preparation
How to make homemade olive rolls?
1 In a bowl, mix the water, flours, yeast, salt and sugar.
When the mixture is combined and a dough is obtained, add the olive oil, yellow cheese and dried oregano.
Put the dough with your hands for 3 minutes, until it feels smooth and pleasant to the touch.
2 Cover the bowl with a plastic bag or kitchen towel and let the dough rise for an hour and a half in a warm place (or two hours in a cold room).
3 Preheat oven to 190 degrees.
4 Divide the dough into 25 balls.
Flatten each ball into a kind of pita, inside the pita bury an olive and close the dough around it.
Dip one side of the dough in the sesame seeds and place in a pan with baking paper, with the side with the sesame seeds facing up.
Bake in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden and the dough is completely baked.
6 Take out and let the rolls cool slightly before eating.
Stored refrigerated for 4-5 days, can also be frozen.
