Lady Gaga in Düsseldorf: powerful sounds, wild dance routines, fast-paced outfits

Lady Gaga has revealed to her fans how much she longed for them.

At the start of her world tour in Düsseldorf, the pop singer called out to the crowd: "I missed you so much".

"There was a long time when I didn't know if I would ever go on tour again," admitted the 36-year-old.

Her fans would have taught her courage and self-love.

Fire fountains and a gold suit

Tens of thousands of fans traveled to the sold-out concert in the Merkur Spiel-Arena.

The "The Chromatica Ball" tour had been postponed twice due to the corona pandemic.

The US singer contrasted the somewhat somber stage setting made of gray concrete blocks with powerful sounds, wild dance routines and rapid outfit changes.

For example, she shone in a golden suit for the song »Babylon«, later she wore a shiny metallic one-piece suit.

During the song "Sour Candy," the arena lit up with a purple light.

And to "Telephone" high fire fountains shot over the audience.
