Russian gas supplies through Nord Stream 1, which reopened this morning

reached 40%, as before the pipeline was closed for maintenance on 11 July

The pipeline reopened as scheduled at 7.00 Moscow time (6.00 Italian time).
According to the Ukrainian gas transport operator Ogtsu, Gazprom's supplies via Ukraine also continue, which today should reach 42.4 million cubic meters.
The Nord Stream pipeline, which connects Russia to Germany, was restarted today after 10 days of maintenance work.
"It's working," the Nord Stream spokesperson said, without specifying the amount of gas delivered.
The German government feared that the pipeline would not be reopened by Moscow after the planned works.
The gas price starts down trading with the restart of the Nord Stream flows at the end of the maintenance period.
In Amsterdam, the price drops to 149 euros per megawatt hour, a drop of 3.9%, reaching the levels of the beginning of July.
