Traffic will remain very heavy until late in the evening.

But it is Saturday that the traffic will be the most complicated, in the direction of departures.

The Rhône Valley in particular is classified as black and the rest of the country is in red, from the morning.

Traffic will be "very difficult" on the A7 motorway between Lyon and Orange.

“In Île-de-France, the first slowdowns could appear relatively early in the direction of the toll barriers, in particular on the A10 motorway”, also indicates Bison smart.

These difficulties could last until mid-afternoon.

Leaving Île-de-France in the morning

In the direction of returns, the traffic will be less dense, the majority of the country being classified orange, except on the Mediterranean axis, which remains red.

We will have to wait until Sunday to see the situation improve significantly across the country.

In the direction of departures, Bison Futé advises leaving or crossing Île-de-France before noon this Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday, to avoid the A7 motorway between Lyon and Orange from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. hours to 3 pm Saturday and between Salon-de-Provence and Marseille from 1 pm to 6 pm Saturday.

Finally, the forecast site recommends not taking the A9 motorway between Orange and Montpellier from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday.
