The European rapid warning system RAPEX warns of respiratory masks from China.

The masks were mainly bought online.
Munich – The European Commission is warning about the Huheta respirator mask from the People's Republic of China via its rapid warning system RAPEX (Rapid Exchange of Information System) - an authority network for consumer health protection in Europe.
The filter mask does not meet the health and safety requirements of the European standard EN 149. Even if it is combined with other recommended measures, the product cannot protect properly.
The product was delivered in a package with 30 masks and the FFP2 label.
The masks were sold in black, grey, red, light blue and dark blue.
Each mask is individually wrapped.
The product was sold online, especially by the online giant Amazon.
The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has also warned against wearing the mask.
Huheta masks were sold in packs of 30.
The respirators are individually packed.

Product recall: European authority orders recall
The legal basis for the publication of RAPEX notifications is Art. 16 of Directive 2001/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 3, 2001 on general product safety, the EU Commission reports.
The author of the publication is the EU Commission.
The responsible market surveillance authorities in the EU are the originators of the reports themselves.
In Germany, these are the responsible market surveillance authorities of the individual federal states.
Only the information provided on the Commission's website is decisive.
