Ambassador and spokesperson for Chanel, yes, but with a tailor-made role.
After two years of collaboration, this is a bit of what Charlotte Casiraghi shows with the French house.
The Monegasque goes on to perform on behalf of the Parisian label: we remember her masterful and unexpected entry, on horseback, during the spring-summer 2022 haute couture show, or her role as host during the Literary Rendez-Vous of rue Cambon, leading a conversation with authors and actresses on contemporary literature.
Lately, change of register: it is on the soundtrack of the haute couture fall-winter 2022-2023 fashion show composed by Sébastien Tellier that Charlotte Casiraghi is illustrated.
If we had already seen the duo at work during a concert given in small groups at the end of Chanel's cruise show in May 2021, we find them this time in a more formal way, on a piece entitled
Mademoiselle
, written in a nod to Coco Chanel.
The eldest daughter of Caroline of Monaco puts her voice there alongside that of the singer and pianist, also an ambassador of the house, and even pushes the experience to the clip.
Mademoiselle, the clip by Sébastien Tellier with Charlotte Casiraghi
A dapper and whimsical clip
And the video is worth watching.
Directed by artist Xavier Veilhan, who designed the decor for Chanel's last two haute couture shows, it features Charlotte Casiraghi in a dreamlike universe where dapper fantasy reigns.
The result is a real mix: a tribute to the equestrian world, which the Monegasque has been passionate about since childhood (and a theme already explored by the contemporary artist in 2009 at the Château de Versailles with his work
Le Carrosse
, a sculpture by carriage of horses at full gallop), a highlighting of the Chanel style - each one being dressed by the brand -, and a successful introduction for Charlotte Casiraghi who thus officially tries her hand at song.
