According to reports on websites overseas, Musk had an affair with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Sergey Brin who was Musk's best friend and invested in Tesla.

The Wall Street Journal reported last night (Sunday) that
Elon Musk
had an affair with
Nicole Shanahan
, the wife of his best friend and one of the founders of Google,
Sergey Brin
.
According to the report, Shanahan and Musk had an affair last year and it was he who led to her divorce from Brin.
"The couple were separated, but continued to live together," an insider told the Journal, adding that Musk was a regular guest at the couple's home.

It was also reported that Musk was separated from the musician

at the time , but the two gave birth to a daughter with the help of a surrogate mother in the month in which the affair took place.
Brin filed for divorce just weeks after he found out about his wife's relationship with his best friend, and instructed his people to withdraw the investments he had made in Musk's businesses over the years.
After the publications, Musk denied the affair on his Twitter account and tweeted "This is bullshit. Sergey and I are friends and we spent time together at a party yesterday. I met Nicole twice in three years, and both times there were other people with us. Nothing romantic."
