The first sampling station for monkey pox was opened today (Tuesday) by "Maccabi Health Services" for members of the coffers.
This is the first checkpoint of one of the health funds.
The position is located in the Maccabi "HaShalom" center, at 96 Yigal Alon St. in Tel Aviv.
The position will operate from 15:00 and Maccabi members can already make an appointment for an examination through the call center with the number *3555, subject to a referral from the attending physician only.
A short time ago, patients started making appointments.

Monkey pox is a viral disease that is often manifested by fever, blistering rash and enlarged lymph nodes.
The Ministry of Health urges those who have developed a fever and a blistering rash or have been in close contact with a person who is suspected of having monkeypox to contact their attending physician.
So far, 121 men have been diagnosed with monkeypox in Israel.
However, the Ministry of Health estimates that this is an underreporting and that the true number of infected people is greater.
5,000 vaccine doses against monkeypox are expected to land in Israel today.
About 5,000 more dishes will arrive later.
The cash registers are being prepared to receive the vaccinations from the Ministry of Health in order to start the vaccination campaign at the beginning of next week.

The vaccine is designed to prevent monkeypox from the age of 18 and is given to those at high risk of exposure.
The criteria for vaccination are: 18 to 40 year olds who are receiving preventive treatment for HIV or men of this age who are diagnosed with HIV and have also been diagnosed in the last six months with the sexually transmitted diseases syphilis, chlamydia or gonorrhea.
In special cases, vaccination can be considered after consultation with the Ministry of Health.
It is important to emphasize that patients with the disease and those defined as close contacts are required to avoid flights as long as there is a danger of infection, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.
The director of the clinic of Maccabi Health Services in Tel Aviv, where the sampling station was opened, Dr. Ruthie Goffen: "Monkey pox is a disease that is transmitted between humans through very close contact, usually skin-to-skin in an area where there are blisters. It is important to be alert for the appearance of symptoms, Among other things, blisters in all areas of the body; face, hands, genitals or anywhere else, secretions, swollen lymph nodes, fever, a general bad feeling and more. If one of the symptoms appears - you should go and be examined as soon as possible."
