(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 26 - The question of the Russian section of the Jewish Agency for Israel, which the Moscow Ministry of Justice has asked for closure due to unspecified violations of the law, "must not be politicized or extended to the entire spectrum of relations between Russia and Israel ".
This was stated by the spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, quoted by the Interfax agency.
The issue must be addressed with "a very cautious approach", added Peskov.
The request for closure of the Russian branch of the agency, which deals with the transfer of Jews to Israel, will be examined by a court in Moscow on Thursday.
