Manufacturer recalls Lidl grated cheese – there is a risk of injury

A well-known grated cheese sold by Lidl was recalled.
The reason is possible foreign bodies in the product.
Bavaria is also affected by the recall.
Munich - The company GOLDSTEIG Käsereien Bayerwald GmbH is recalling one of its products.
Specifically, this is the 250 gram pack of "Milbona Emmental grated".
The reason for the recall is a possible risk of injury when eating, as the manufacturer announced in an official press release on Friday evening (July 22nd).

In the case of the grated cheese, it cannot be ruled out that there are blue plastic bodies in the pack in question.
As a result, there is a possible risk of injury when eating.
Customers are asked not to eat the cheese product under any circumstances.
Recently, a plant-based cheese product was also recalled.

The affected cheese was sold in Lidl branches in a total of eight federal states: Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, Schleswig-Holstein.
Lidl itself has already withdrawn the product from sale.
As the communication states, the purchase price will “of course be refunded, even without presenting the receipt”.
