Golden and crackling with a hot filling inside, there is nothing like the borkas, but borkas in a juicy and spicy meat filling is already a complete meal.

There is everything you need in one dough box.

At the end of the week we like to make a big family meat borax pastry, but in the middle of the week we choose personal pastries.

You can fill the inside with fresh vegetables and also add Burkes style pickles treats and eat at the sea or in nature.

Please note

: it is important not to fill the dough with hot stuffing, this will damage it and its ability to rise.

Preparation

How do you make borax filled with meat?

  • 1

    Prepare the stuffing:

heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onion and carrot for about 10 minutes until softened and golden.

  • 2 Add the garlic, meat and spices and fry while stirring with a wooden spoon, until you get crumbs.

It is important that no liquid remains in the pan.

Add the mustard and parsley, mix well and cool.

  • 3 Heat the oven to 190 degrees and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

  • 4 Place the dough on a work surface, cut into 8 squares, fill with meat stuffing (after it has cooled) and close into triangles.

If there is time, it is recommended to put it in the fridge for half an hour or in the freezer for 10 minutes, before baking.

  • 5 Brush the dough with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the borax are golden and beautiful.

Cool for a few minutes and serve immediately.
