A year and a half ago, Ido Rosenblum was removed from hosting the entertainment show "The Chase".
The official reason for his removal at the end of five seasons pointed to the broadcasting corporation's stated intention to cultivate domestic talent, and not to give screen time to the faces identified with Channel 12. It makes sense.
Just as it made sense to choose Lucy Ayoub to replace him.
But what actually happened is that while the season with Ayoub was aired in Khan 11, she took her legs and ran to Keshet, where she hosted "Dancing with the Stars" and other future projects.
The corporation had no choice, and yesterday we were informed that it was decided to return Rosenblum, the host of "The Masked Singer", to the program with Chaser.
Ido Rosenblum, Lucy Ayoub, Assi Ezer, Rotem Sela, Guy Zu-Aretz and Liron Weizman - it seems that at the moment this is the limited pool from which moderators of leading prime time programs in Israel are drawn.
If Weizman, Ezer and Sela grew up in the hothouse of Guy Pines and rubbed shoulders on Channel 2, where Rosenblum and Zo-Eretz also grew, then Job is actually the only one who grew up on Channel 11. She did everything there, from talk shows to Eurovision, showing versatility and maximizing all the possibilities that the corporation had to propose, so the transition to archery was natural.
However, the question arises as to why the corporation was not able to cultivate a next generation for Ayub, and did it have the desire to produce some new faces that would attract new and young audiences to the channel?
