(ANSA) - MANILA, JUL 28 - The toll from the strong 7-magnitude earthquake that hit the Philippine island of Luzon yesterday has risen to at least five dead and over 150 injured.
Hundreds of buildings were damaged or destroyed, roads were blocked by landslides and electricity was cut off in several provinces.
More than 800 aftershocks have been recorded since the first quake, 24 of which were strong enough to be felt by the population.
