(ANSA) - KIEV, JUL 30 - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for the evacuation of all civilians from the part of the Donetsk region under the control of Kiev, where the most intense fighting with the Russian forces is underway.
"A government decision has been made on the mandatory evacuation of the region," the president said.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuck had said that the government would make the evacuation mandatory before the start of the winter season, adding that the measure would affect 200,000-220,000 Ukrainians, including 52,000 children.
