Lots of groove with zero effort: the heat didn't stop Yasmin Moalem from conquering the audience Israel today

juggles with virtuosity between different musical styles, dances as if it's not hot at all and infects the viewers with authentic and sincere enthusiasm • The singer-songwriter who took a place of honor in the charts, produces a fun show and brings a refreshing voice, and all this in the height of style

You know when you go to a concert by an artist you like in general, get excited to hear him sing the same three or four hits you know from the radio and find yourself enjoying the atmosphere, but for most of the time just waiting for the next song to come so you can hum it along with the singer?

This was our expectation for Yasmin Moalem's appearance at Amphi Shoni - and we were hugely surprised.

For the better, of course.

First of all, let's remember: Moalem broke into our lives only about two years ago.

Although she quickly jumped to the top of the charts, and still - this is an artist with a relatively short career, who has so far released only one album ("Aria"). Devote yourself completely to the experience, from big to small.

Surrender to the experience.

As soon as Mualem started singing, none of this surprised anyone.

She has overwhelming and effortless charisma, fun energy and above all wonderful and precise vocal abilities in a way that you don't always find in live performances.

To all this we must also add extraordinary versatility: she moves very easily between pop, hip-hop, R&B and indie - and does it all really, really well.

In the process, she also doesn't stop dancing on stage with peak energy, in a very incomprehensible manner in light of the extreme heat and humidity that we are experiencing these days (a fact that Oalem, by the way, referred to her several times throughout the performance - including a graceful emission of "Samallah").

Another moment of honesty was recorded when she told about the traffic jams in which she got stuck on the way to the concert, an experience we also identified with, which almost made her "turn around and go back" (and what a joy she didn't do).

This is just a small example of Moalem's unmissable authenticity, which is perhaps the most accurate title that can be given to it.

She is a stunning performer who gives the feeling that she is really having fun.

It's impossible not to get caught up in her vibe and have fun with her.

From song to song it was felt that she opens up and frees herself, communicates with the audience in a super natural way, and manages to address even those sitting in the upper and far stands as if they were sitting with her in an intimate concert hall.

Something in her personality manages to create an experience of a huge show, but one where everyone present feels part of the party.

Gives everyone a place of honor.

With all due respect to the aforementioned, it is also appropriate to refer to the musicians with her on stage, and specifically to the female musicians, who together with the singer create an excellent dominant female presence.

Even from her position in the center of the stage, Moalem manages to place a spotlight, literally, on each and every one of the musicians who accompany her, and give them a place of honor in the show.

It seems that this is a group of people who really have fun together, and it shows.

In addition to her well-known and beloved songs ("How sweet", "Party", "Barefoot", "Mahila" - a partial list only), the show included fun guest performances by Shir David Gedsi and Teddy Ngusa, as well as very successful covers, headed by, of course, "Moonlight" by Aviv Gefen.

At the concert, Moalem sang the rap part that Tona performed in their joint innovation - and it was wow.

"Class with zero effort" by Static and Ben El, whose writing she participated in, was also one of the highlights of the evening.

Another surprising cover was the song "In Ani" by Shotti Nabova (remember?) which seemed to have been written especially for her.

There is something captivating about Mualem, and no wonder it has earned itself a place of honor in playlists.

The groove, the special voice and the effortless charisma create a fun experience that you only want to hear more of.
