With three simple methods, you can get rid of annoying wasps in spring or summer - without hurting them.
It's a perfect summer day and you're sitting outside with your family.
You're barbecuing or having a relaxing picnic - but before you know it, wasps are already infesting your food and drinks.
And as you know, that's not the only problem.
Because the insects sting every now and then and wasp stings can be very painful.
But what's the best way to drive them away without hurting them and risking a sting?
The

gives some tips that are often used - with home remedies that everyone has at home.
If you want to get rid of an entire wasp nest, you have to consider a few things.

A means that has been established to drive away wasps is coffee.
If the insects smell it, they usually stay away.
However, dry coffee itself does not have a very strong smell.
For this reason, it is advisable to light the ground coffee.
The resulting smoke should drive the wasps away.
It is best to place the ground coffee in a fireproof container and light it with a match, for example.
Difference between wasps and bees
Bees and wasps are very similar on the outside, but they are fundamentally different.
Bees are less aggressive and can only sting once, which will kill them.
Wasps, on the other hand, can sting multiple times.
Externally, you can recognize bees by their larger bodies and light down.
While both species pollinate plants, honey bees are much more active pollinators than wasps.
Paper bags as a wasp's nest imitation
Another very simple method is to use a brown paper bag as a wasp nest imitation.
To do this, crumple up a bag from the bakery or supermarket and hang it up on a string on your balcony, for example.
Since wasps don't like to mess with other wasps, they stay away from your paper bag wasp nest.

Lemons and oranges against wasps
Fruit usually attracts wasps.
But oranges and lemons are said to do the opposite.
All you have to do is cut off a few slices and spread them out.
The effect is said to be even stronger if you also drip some clove oil on it.
What if it did happen and the wasp stopped?
