(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 01 - 18,813 new infections from Covid and 121 victims in the last 24 hours, an increase compared to 83 yesterday.
These are the data from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health which shows a slight rise in intensive care admissions - 398, ten more than yesterday - and in the ordinary wards, where there are 10,527 patients, 28 more in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate, on the other hand, is slightly warmer than yesterday, when it was 18%.
Overall, 105,839 swabs were performed between antigenic and molecular.
Currently, Italians positive for Coronavirus are 1,254,753, or 21,730 fewer than yesterday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the infected are instead 21,059,545 while the amounts have risen to 172,207.
The discharged and healed are 19,632,585 with an increase of 41,129.
