Today, 160,752 thousand students are going to sit the exams for the second session of the secondary certificate in its various branches for the year 2022, distributed among 906 exam centers in all governorates.

Director of Examinations in the Ministry of Education, Yunus Fati Bein, told SANA reporter that the number of literary students who will apply for this course has reached 43,966, and the number of scientific students is 103,281.

Fati pointed out that the second exam session, which started today, will continue until the 10th of this month and for the Sharia high school until the 14th of it, stressing the readiness of the exam centers in all governorates and hosting centers for students coming from Lebanon and areas controlled by terrorist organizations.

He pointed out that it was directed to fully adhere to the health emergency plan in addition to the approved health plan to deal with the hosting students, follow up on the reality of health centers and focus on preventive inspection before students enter the exam halls.

On July 7, the Ministry of Education issued the results of the first round of secondary certificate exams in all its branches, where the success rate in the scientific section was 55.24 percent, the literary section 53.98 percent, the Sharia high school 65.19 percent, the women’s vocational high school 70.37 percent, the industrial high school 60.55 percent, and the commercial high school 52.99 percent.
