The search for a 32-year-old has continued on Lake Starnberg in Bavaria.
According to his friends, the man from Munich was hit by a motorboat about 300 meters from the shore near Berg on Sunday afternoon when he was swimming in the water.
So he went down immediately.
So far there is no trace of the man despite a large-scale rescue operation.
The 64-year-old driver of the boat was initially unable to provide any information after the collision because he was in shock.
The competent public prosecutor's office in Munich II confiscated his motorboat.
An expert began work on an accident analysis report.
A spokeswoman for the Oberbayern Nord Presidium told Bayerischer Rundfunk on request that a sonar device and a diving robot would continue to search for the missing person on Tuesday.
