Yaniv Suisa (45), one of the most prominent stars in the series "Kupah Rasat" which has become a cult, is now preparing for a new role in the theater and a new sitcom for children.
This will happen in the musical "The Chabadniks", which will be staged at the Chamber Theater, in which he plays alongside Daniel Stiopin, his partner in "Kopa Raisht".
The musical was written by Udi Gottschalk, who also directs it together with Gilad Kimchi, the artistic director of the chamber, and Avihai Hacham is responsible for the choreography.
At the center of the plot is the story of Yehuda and Chaim (Ofari Bitterman and Rafael Abbas), 23-year-old twins from Kfar Chabad, who must find a match at their "extreme age".
They arrive at a matchmaker in a dubious neighborhood on the outskirts of Tel Aviv and get involved with Menashe (Yaniv Suissa/ Shlomi Koriat), the head of a crime family that terrorizes the residents of the neighborhood.

"This is the first time I'm participating in a musical. It's wow, it's completely crazy. Unlike 'normal' theater performances, even if they have a large cast, here is the whole point of the show. In 'Habadnikim', the Revolutionary Orchestra participates live with us on stage. For A person who loves music as much as I do, it's like electricity in the body."
Tell me about the character you play.
"I play Menashe, the manager of Tel Aviv's underworld. He owns a club called 'Savidor 69' in the Savidor neighborhood. He keeps foreign workers who call him father, he treats them like his own children, but there is also a deep scratch in his attitude towards them. There are of course the two brothers who come from Kfar Chabad and end up at his place.
One of them falls in love with a foreign worker, and from there a whole story begins.
The other brother also falls in love with someone, which I will not reveal in order not to make spoilers."
And not only are you acting in a musical for the first time, you're also going on stage for the first time together with your friend from "Kupa Rashat", Daniel.
"Daniel is an experience, he is a very good friend of mine in my personal life as well, and suddenly bringing him from television to the stage is as if we had never been apart since filming the third season. We continue together in the theater as well, and in November we will start filming the fourth season, so we are even considering living together" ( laughs).
