"FIFA 23" is next in line.
When can a release be expected?
Since October 1, 2021, fans can play the last version of the football simulation "FIFA" on the PC or on the console.

Electronic Arts does not want to extend the current agreement with FIFA, as the publisher announced in autumn 2021.
Instead, the game series could be called
"EA Sports FC"
in the future .
EA applied for the trademark rights for this at the beginning of October, as can be seen in the database of the German Patent and Trademark Office in Munich and in the UK Intellectual Property Office.
With the renaming, the "FIFA" era of almost 30 years would come to an end.
What will be different in "FIFA 23"?
Every year, EA is criticized again because players have to pay full price for every part of the series, even though the changes are sometimes extremely small.
This could be the end of “FIFA 23” or “EA Sports FC”.
