Do you want to use up a zucchini quickly and without much effort?

Then you have to try and enjoy this three ingredient deep fried zucchini recipe.

The courgettes have been in the fridge for a few days and you finally want to use them up?

Then an uncomplicated recipe is needed, a zucchini salad for example - or these fried zucchini thalers.

You only need three ingredients for the recipe and they are prepared really quickly.

They also exude a little holiday flair...

Zucchini recipe: You need these ingredients for the fried zucchini thalers

  • 1 large zucchini

  • a bit of salt

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 eggs

  • oil for frying

Zucchini Recipe: How to make fried zucchini patties

  • Cut the courgettes into slices about 5 mm thick and salt them well on both sides.

    Spread them out on a plate or baking sheet and let them rest for about 10 minutes.

    During this time, the salt will pull any excess water out of the zucchini and the zucchini snack will be all the crispier.

  • Use a kitchen towel to carefully blot up the water that has escaped.

  • Put the flour in a sealable freezer bag, add the zucchini slices, close the bag and shake until all the zucchini slices are coated in flour.

  • Heat a large amount of oil in a pan.

  • Beat the two eggs with a pinch of salt, turn the floured zucchini slices in them and then fry them directly in the fat.

    Keep adding oil so that the zucchini slices fry well.

  • Then drain the baked zucchini slices on a kitchen towel.

  • That's why you sometimes have such cravings for Chinese food
