Especially not when they are fresh.
A Penny customer noticed that too and was not enthusiastic.
Munich – Supermarkets and discounters often advertise their fresh products.
Sometimes customers make mistakes and get a bad product.
This also happened to an Edeka customer who bought rotten mangosteen.
A Penny customer took a closer look at the discounter's fruit and vegetable department.
He found moldy food and posted it on Facebook.
Penny responded to the post in the comments.

The Penny customer probably saw it differently and wrote to his post: "Freshness guarantee: the sign is always written on time?"

It is not known at what time the customer took the pictures.
Penny reacted to the post.
"Thanks for the hint.
Which market are you referring to?” asked the discounter.
"That's right, you immediately contacted the MA on site, right?" commented a Facebook user.
"It's the same with us, in life nobody checks the fruit and vegetables every 90 minutes," wrote another user.
The Facebook user has not yet responded to the Penny question.

He posted pictures showing the extent.
The refrigerated counters "sweated" and the water collected on the chests.
