It is over 30 degrees in Paris, the heat is felt at every street corner and yet... Some people do not hesitate to swap the traditional summer barbecue for a dish that is unexpected to say the least: fondue.
Savoyard or Burgundian, these two stars of winter invite themselves into the dishes of a small restaurant perched on the heights of Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement, rue des Trois Frères.
And it lives up to its name: “Le Refuge des Fond”, created in 1966, which shelters tourists and fanatics of melted cheese and good meats.
Despite the overwhelming heat, the establishment is full: this Tuesday, August 2, the two services of 40 seats each were full or almost full.
If the majority of people present that day are Americans, some Parisians also have fun playing tourists.
The report on these fondue fans can be found above.
