"Don't leave me alone": Charity Oriakhi, the wife of Alika Ogochukwu, the 39-year-old Nigerian peddler who was beaten to death last Friday, July 29, in Civitanova Marche by 32-year-old Filippo Ferlazzo from Salerno, asks this through ANSA. Alika had begged for alms.
Charity is a broken woman who does not resign herself to the death of her husband and as a mantra of her repeats: "I want justice".
The few remaining tears of her run down her face and mingle with the sweat, her eyes sometimes get lost in the emptiness of the small room where she is hot as hell.
"I haven't slept since the day Alika was killed, my son Emmanuel can't rest and always asks for dad," she says in a whisper.
