(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 04 - "The Government does not respect commitments: there is a lack of resources to cover the collapse in revenues. Services risk".
This was declared by UPI President Michele dePascale during today's State-City Conference in which, to avoid the lack of agreement between the Provinces, the Government withdrew the examination of the provision.
"We hope - says dePascale - that in these hours the Government will find the solution: between 2019 and 2021 the decline in TPL and IPT revenues recorded by Provinces and Metropolitan Cities was 225 million, of which 148 million less for the Provinces and 77 million less for metropolitan cities. Against this impressive figure, the first decree helps the only resources available to provinces and metropolitan cities to compensate for the collapse in revenues.
which directly affects the possibility of guaranteeing services, were 20 million.
Thus we risk not being able to guarantee the services: for this reason we are once again asking for a clear and certain commitment from the Government with respect to the actual willingness to deal with this dramatic situation, ensuring the necessary resources in this Aid bis decree ".
