PSG manager Christophe Galtier expects three more market hits by 31 August, in addition to Portuguese Renato Sanches, whose arrival in Paris is imminent.
Two days after his Ligue 1 debut against Clermont, Galtier told reporters to expect "three" new players.
"After that it would become difficult," he added.
"The president and ds Campos are working on it.
I want a certain number of players in my squad, of high level, who guarantee a certain performance throughout the season, in order to create a healthy competition for a starting place. I don't know when they arrive, but I know that the club is doing everything to have a very competitive squad, "he stressed.
So far, and pending the formalization of Renato Sanches' transfer from Lille, PSG has signed three players: Portuguese midfielder Vitinha (formerly Porto), young French forward (20) Hugo Ekitike (formerly Reims) and defender Nordi Mukiele (formerly Leipzig).
PSG must also get rid of some redundant players, before hiring others: Wijnaldum is on the list of starters (towards Rome), Paredes could instead end up at Juventus
