The actress and activist returns to her iconic role as an '80s sports coach for the Swedish brand's new line of sportswear.

You can be 84 and still be (very) active, Jane Fonda is living proof of that.

The Oscar-winning actress intends to once again make sport accessible to as many people as possible by participating in the very dynamic H&M Move advertising campaign, which promotes a new line of unisex clothing, designed primarily for running and fitness.

The Swedish brand wants to address all body types, and intends to oppose youthism.

She invites everyone to move more and stay healthy.

This launch campaign shows us a svelte and toned Jane Fonda in stylish clothes made for ease and movement.

She is joined by choreographer JaQuel Knight, responsible for several shows given during the Superbowl, to guide her during this intergenerational training session.

"Moving has kept me fit and healthy all my life," she says in the video's introduction.

"You always have to try to move, and grow."

A fitness icon, Jane Fonda released her first workout VHS in 1982,

, one of the best-selling videotapes of all time.

She then democratized aerobics as a discipline in her emblematic fluorescent leotards, already encouraging people to move en masse.

“Sportswear helps because it sets this moment apart from the rest of the day and gives it more meaning!” she said in a fitness book at the time.

"I have spent a large part of my life moving people and was naturally drawn to H&M Move's mission to move the world (...).

It's about giving your body the kind of movement it needs to stay healthy so it can take care of you,” she says today.

To reduce environmental impact, H&M Group aims to have 100% of materials either recycled or sourced more sustainably by 2030. H&M says 99% of polyester in the Move line is recycled and cotton is "of more sustainable origin".
