Water is healthy – but does this also apply to distilled water?

The assumption is circulating that dangerous consequences are imminent.

You can find out here whether this is true.

Are you drinking too little?

You are not alone in this.

Many simply forget to drink enough fluids.

Others don't get around to taking breaks to drink in the stress of everyday life.

Others - especially older people - often lack the feeling of thirst.

But if you drink too little, you risk dehydration, which can be accompanied by tremors.

You can use a simple formula to calculate how much you should drink every day.

Simply multiply your weight in kilograms by 35 milliliters of liquid.

In the case of a person weighing 60 kilograms, that would be 2,100 milliliters, i.e. a little more than two liters, that they should drink per day.

But be careful: This formula only applies to healthy adults who do not exert themselves excessively.

If you sweat a lot, you should drink more fluids.

The best thirst quenchers are water, unsweetened tea and fruit spritzers.

But what about distilled water?

Water is not simply water.

Distilled water yes, but not in bulk

The rumor that distilled water can be harmful to the body persists.

In fact, according to the

weltderwunder.de

portal, blood cells can burst if they come into direct contact with distilled water.

As a result, death threatens.

But this can only happen if distilled water is given as an IV

.

Drinking distilled water in normal amounts, on the other hand, is harmless to the body.

However, what has a different effect on the body is the temperature of the drinking water, as

24vita.de

reveals.

However, one should not drink distilled water by the liter

because in this way too many minerals are flushed out of the body.

However, this is also the case if you drink too much tap water or mineral water.

Due to the minerals it contains, such as calcium and magnesium, the latter is well suited to replenishing the body's mineral balance - for example after sport.

Distilled water no longer contains salts and minerals: these are filtered out like impurities during production.
