"Sandman" is a new promising fantasy series on Netflix.
Does the streaming service have more seasons planned?
Fantasy fans can look forward to replenishment on Netflix.
"Sandman" started its first season in August and it fulfills many requirements for a successful series.
It is an adaptation of the comic series of the same name by author Neil Gaiman, whose works have often been implemented as TV series - including with "American Gods" on Amazon Prime.
The implementation of "Sandman" as a television series seemed almost impossible for a long time, so Netflix users can be curious to see whether the producers have succeeded.
Neil Gaiman was also involved in the production.
And what about a second season of "Sandman"?
"Sandman" season 2 not confirmed yet - but the chances are good
So far, Netflix hasn't officially renewed "Sandman" for a second season - but that's not surprising since the streaming provider will first wait to see how many people will watch the new series.
After all, producer David S. Goyer revealed to
denofgeek.com
that the script for Season 2 is already being written.
If the first episodes are well received by the audience, then nothing should stand in the way of further seasons.
The fact that fantasy adaptations have potential for success on Netflix is shown, among other things, by “The Witcher”.
