(ANSA) - BEIJING, 05 AUG - The Ministry of Defense of Taipei has announced that, in the count up to 17 local (11 in Italy) 68 fighters and 13 Chinese warships crossed the informal medium line that divides the Taiwan Strait on the second day of the maxi exercises of the People's Liberation Army around the island.
"We condemn the Communist armed forces for deliberately crossing the midline of the Strait and operating in the sea and airspace around Taiwan," the defense ministry specified in its latest update.
