This Pinterest food trend is guaranteed to cool you down on hot summer days!

Simply Tasty is new to Pinterest and we're celebrating with a mega competition.

And we wouldn't be us if we didn't have a super delicious recipe ready for you on top.

Our exclusive Pinterest series "Food Trend Friday" is entering the second round with a fruity, refreshing Yellow Summer punch.

It's perfect for your next garden party, barbecue or picnic by the lake.

Try it out at the weekend and let yourself be convinced.

Cheers 🍾

That's how it's done:

You need these ingredients:

  • Mango ice cubes:

  • Pineapple in a can

  • mango juice

  • Punch:

  • 300 g honeydew melon, diced

  • 300 g cantaloupe melon, diced

  • 100 g physalis, halved

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 lime, sliced

  • 300 g pineapple ad can

  • 1.5 l sparkling wine, chilled

  • 300 grams of mango juice

  • 2 tbsp orange syrup

  • Besides that:

  • bowl or bowl

  • ice cube tray

The preparation is very easy:

  • For the mango ice cubes:

Cut the canned pineapple into small cubes and place in the hollows of an ice cube tray.

Top up with mango juice (or any other yellow juice) and freeze overnight.

  • For the punch:

wash the fruit and cut into cubes, slices or stars.

Pour into a large bowl or punch bowl.

Top up with chilled sparkling wine, mango juice and orange syrup and stir.

  • Pour into glasses and serve with ice cubes.

  • Bottom up!

  • Tip:

The mango ice cubes not only cool the punch, they also don't water it down.

For even more color you can use different juices (e.g. peach, orange or cherry) and fill them with fruit, mint, edible flowers or even glitter dust.

On Pinterest "Food Trend Friday" we have a refreshing cool down for you in the form of this Yellow Summer Punch.
