American actress Anne Heche, 53, is hospitalized in critical condition after crashing her blue Mini Cooper into a house in Los Angeles.
This is according to US media reports such as CNN and the Tmz website.
Los Angeles firefighters reported that his car went off the road and crashed into a two-story house in Los Angeles' Mar Vista neighborhood, "causing structural damage and exploding in a massive fire."
La Heche was "taken to a hospital in the area in critical condition."
59 firefighters were employed and it took 65 minutes to contain and completely extinguish the fire, according to reports from the firefighters.
La Heche, former partner of actress and presenter Ellen DeGeneres, is known for her role in the soap opera 'Another World', 'Destini' in Italy, for which she won a Daytime Emmy in 1991 and has starred in numerous films by 90s, including 'Six Days, Seven Nights', 'Donnie Brasco' and 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'.
