According to the police, a tornado near Ravensburg in Baden-Württemberg caused damage in a presumably seven-figure range.
The tornado blew away the roof of a warehouse near the municipality of Bad Wurzach, according to the Ravensburg police headquarters.
The roof was only 300 meters away in a corn field.
»The rest of the warehouse was completely destroyed and, according to a structural engineer, is partially in danger of collapsing.«
According to the information, the tornado in the region also tore off the tin roof of a machine hall.
According to the owner, the hall is otherwise stable.
Two cars were also damaged.
"More damage will probably be discovered in daylight," it said.
The police said nothing was known about personal injury.
