Things will get loud at Gamescom 2022.

For the performance of the rhythm shooter Metal: Hellsinger, Funcom has planned the biggest concert in the history of the fair.

Cologne – Gamescom is basically a pretty loud event.

Thousands of visitors swarm the exhibition halls every August to see the latest games before they are released, while numerous exhibitors compete for attention with music and parties.

This year, The Outsiders, the developer behind Metal: Hellsinger, is likely to attract a lot of attention.

The studio has announced a concert with artists from the game's soundtrack for Gamescom 2022, which is set to be the largest concert in the history of the fair.

Who will perform at the concert?

For the Metal: Hellsinger soundtrack, developer studio The Outsiders has assembled practically everything that has a reputation in metal.

The music lives up to the name of the game, but it gets even better when you can enjoy the fat riffs and blast beats live and in color.

So The Outsiders and publisher Funcom have their own concert planned for Gamescom 2022, featuring a star-studded cast of musicians who all contributed to the Metal: Hellsinger soundtrack.

The line-up for the concert looks like this:

• Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy)

• Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquility)

• Dennis Lyxzen (Refused/INVSN)

• James Dorton (Black Crown Initiate)

Show attendees can look forward to a gathering of some of the biggest musicians in the metal genre.

But great musicians also require a correspondingly large concert and in this respect Funcom does not want to be stingy.

In a trailer for the performance, the publisher promises the "biggest concert in the history of Gamescom." Many may not have had such an event on their list of hopes for Gamescom 2022.

When and where will the concert take place?

The concert should go up on the Thursday of the fair, i.e. on August 25, 2022, at the Gamescom fairgrounds.

At 7:00 p.m. the starting shot will be fired.

It is not known how long the performances will last.

However, all musicians will perform the original Metal: Hellsinger songs.

Those who cannot attend the concert on site also have the opportunity to watch the event live stream free of charge.

With Metal: Hellsinger, the Swedish development studio The Outsiders wants to provide shooter fans with more tact.

The bands performing at the Gamescom 2022 concert have all contributed their own songs to the soundtrack, with band members from Jinjer, System of a Down and Lamb of God also joining the party.
