Still according to her, the vigil at the Synagogue de la Rose, in Marseille, took place on Saturday evening.

Born in 1961 in Constantine, Algeria, Daniel Lévi was the youngest of a family of seven children and spent his childhood in Lyon.

After having studied the piano for about ten years, he began his career in the early 1980s with a first album called “Cocktail”.

But it was with the musical “The Ten Commandments” that the artist enjoyed national success in 2000, notably with the key song “L'Envy d'Aimer”.

A few years earlier, in 1993, he recorded "Ce rêve bleu", the song from the Disney cartoon "Aladdin", in duet with singer Karine Costa.
