(ANSA) - BEIJING, 07 AUG - The Ministry of Transport of Taiwan has stated that "the ban on flying and navigation" in six of the 7 areas around the island, designated off-limits following the maxi military exercises requested by China, has come less today starting at noon, thus remarking that the operations of the People's Liberation Army are starting to end.
The ban on the seventh zone, in the waters east of Taiwan, will remain in force until 10 am local time (4 in Italy) on Monday 8 August.
"Flights and departures can resume," added the ministry, signaling a gradual return to normal for transport.
