After the ceasefire in Operation "Dawn", the numbers are starting to become clear.

Hundreds of missiles have been fired at Israel since the beginning of the military operation, and according to the estimates of the Renovation Contractors Association, over 150 damage to property was recorded, amounting to over NIS 15 million.

When it comes to damages regardless of infrastructure and vehicle.

Most of the widespread damage was caused from the distance of tens of meters from the fall of the missile, when only a few buildings were irreversibly damaged.

The most common damages so far - broken glass, shutters and aluminum, plaster and paint from shards and jambs and doors.

The damages in this operation are so far lower by tens of percent than previous operations, mainly due to the 96 percent success rate of the Iron Dome system which intercepts the missiles in the air before they reach the various buildings in Israel.

Eran Siev, Chairman of the Renovation Contractors Association: "Unfortunately, we have no experience regarding renovation damages following military operations once every few years.

Unlike previous years, so far the damages amount to several tens of millions, this is due to the approximately 96 percent success rate of the Iron Dome system."

Siv explains that "It is important to remember that the initial procedure after a missile hit is to call the property tax and report the damage.

After that, an appraiser or engineer will be sent to assess the damage, including a detailed report of all the damage to the building.

The owner of the property has two main options - either bring in a renovation contractor on his behalf and receive quotes that are subject to property tax approval to begin renovation work, of course to receive full reimbursement from the state, or alternatively receive work through the property tax leasing companies, where the money goes directly from the property tax to the leasing companies To handle all the renovations in the property."

He gives a very important tip to those ordering the renovation: "Ensure that the renovation is up to the previous standard and even beyond it. We are experts in experience and this is also the time to say that the property tax does its job faithfully and as of the last operations, no complaints have been received by the association regarding the property tax officials and the appraisers, who work quickly and sensitively with many families who find themselves often in one military operation or another with alternative housing, extensive renovations and more."
